This is a compact but fully fitted apartment very close to the sea. This apartment is more for budget travelers or beach lovers as it is not ideal to sleep 4 people here because of the size, but can fit 2 comfortably. The area is renowned for its seafood restaurants as this entire area was originally the fisherman’s quarter. Fresh fish and shellfish are still caught off the coast today. The Road that runs down to Port Vell, The Old Port is called Joan de Borbo, here you will find a wide variety of seafood restaurants varying in price and quality. If you explore the back streets here they have a lot of the original charm of the area still intact and you may find a clandestine bar frequented only by the locals. If you follow the port along which is a very pleasant stroll you will arrive at the statue of Christopher Columbus, this is the start of The Ramblas. Also just 5 minutes away you have the area of Borne. There are many curious boutiques, restaurants and wine bars in this area. This area is also synonymous with history as there are a variety of Museums here, such as the Picasso, chocolate and Textile to name a few. Amble these streets and you will find yourself transported to the past!
